Air France Opens Refurbished Lounge at San Francisco (SFO)

Air France has recently re-opened their newly refurbished lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The expanded lounge opened on June 16th, 2023 to Air France La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, KLM, and its Skyteam partner airlines customers. The location is open daily from 10:00 to 20:30 and is located in Terminal A.

The space also offers free Wi-Fi along with numerous electrical and USB charging at tables and seats. Showers are available throughout the day for those wanting to wake up after a long flight or to just freshen up.

The lounge celebrates the French travel experience by choosing materials such as wood and leather, and in Air France colors, with shades of blue, white, and touches of red. Throughout the lounge, you will experience a warm, elegant atmosphere, combining private alcoves and social spaces. Bench seating, chairs, and high tables provide the perfect place to work or relax.

A large walk-up bar is also available, offering a selection of French wines and champagnes, local draft beers, spirits, and cocktails prepared by a bar attendant.

Customers traveling in the La Première cabin between San Francisco (SFO) and Paris (CDG) have a confidential area in the lounge totally dedicated to them. This area has natural light thanks to its large glass façade; this unique space with its cozy atmosphere is a reflection of the experience in this exceptional cabin. The area includes its own restaurant and direct access to the bar.

Flying Blue Ultimate customers also have a dedicated space (near the lounge entrance) reserved for them. This area is equipped with comfy chairs and more for relaxing.

Closing Thoughts

This new lounge looks amazing and modern. I am not sure what the hours are for Priority Pass members, but there is a listing for this lounge with some information. The extra space will for sure be nice to help with overcrowding that seems to happen in lounges.
