Delta Sky Club Opening at Charlotte (CLT) in 2024

According to news from The Charlotte Ledger, Delta Airlines will open its first-ever Sky Club lounge at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in 2024.

Although details are limited, the lounge will likely open in Concourse A, where Delta currently operates. Charlotte (CLT) airport (the largest commercial airport in North Carolina) currently has five lounges as well as some other club-like options.

  • American Admirals Clubs (Concourse B and C)
  • American Express Centurion Lounge (D / E connector)
  • The Club (Concourse A) *
  • USO Lounge (Atrium)
  • Gameway (Concourse E) *
  • Minute Suites (Atrium and Concourse D) *

* Priority Pass eligible

This new Sky Club should help relieve crowding issues in the other lounges and provide more competition to the existing lounges to improve their lounge experience.

Closing Thoughts

There are currently 56 Delta Sky Club lounges in the United States. Delta Air Lines (DAL) operates the most lounges of any airline worldwide. I am a little surprised that United Airlines does not have a lounge in CLT, but maybe they will follow Delta and open one as well. I am excited to review this lounge when it opens and will update any news here.
