Dubai Opens New Gaming Lounge

Dubai International Airport (DXB) has opened a new gaming lounge called Game Space. This new gaming venue opened its doors on November 21, 2022 and is open 24/7. Besides gaming they offer food and beverage options that you can enjoy while in the lounge. Following the lead from gamers worldwide, they offer quality gaming chairs and computers from Republic of Gamers (ROG). This gaming center is located in Terminal 3 - B Concourse (near gate B32) in the DBX Family Zone.

Game Space offers 40 computer stations, each with 50-inch (2K 240 Hz) screens. They also include ROG high-resolution headsets, RGB mechanical keyboards, a high-precision mouse, and an ergonomic gaming chair. Currently they have a catalog of 20 game titles, including Fortnite, League of Legends, Crash Bandicoot, and more.

The lounge is open to all travelers for a fee and has also partnered with Priority Pass to offer complimentary access for its members. 

Closing Thoughts

I like to see different alternatives for passengers at airports that are not the typical lounge and are available to anyone. This gaming lounge concept seems to be gaining some momentum, like the Spa and relaxation venues that are opening. There is also a new lounge called Gameway that is starting to expand for those travelling to airports in the United states.
