The popular Priority Pass program announced some exciting news for program members. As of June 20th, 63 Plaza Premium lounges have been added back to the Priority Pass lounge network

Hong Kong-based Plaza Premium is the largest independent lounge operator with locations in the world. But back in July 2021, Priority Pass and Plaza Premium Group had a falling out about the fees that changed hands for members’ lounge visits, which led to Plaza Premium lounges being axed from the membership program.

We are excited to rejoin the Priority Pass network and look forward to working closely with Collinson to offer their members access to our premium airport services. Our lounges are designed to provide travelers with a comfortable and relaxing environment, and we are confident that Priority Pass and LoungeKey members will appreciate the high-quality amenities and services we offer.

With this addition, 15 lounges will be in the U.S. and Canada, 21 in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and 27 in the Asia-Pacific region.

These facilities will also be available to LoungeKey members, which is effectively a subset of Priority Pass locations. The Priority Pass website now is showing locations such as the Plaza Premium Lounge in Orlando (MCO) and others.

That’s great news for anyone with a Priority Pass membership, even those with the included benefit from cards such as the Capital One Venture X or American Express Platinum.

Closing Thoughts

This is excellent news for those with a Priority Pass membership. If you are traveling to a location that has a Plaza Premium lounge, this could likely offer the best lounge choice.
