Qatar Airways adds 3 new Lounges in Doha

Exciting news for those with plans to visit Doha Hamad International (DOH) airport lounges. In addition to the other Qatar lounges at the airport and in preparation of the upcoming FIFA 2022 World Cup, Qatar Airways (QTR/QR) has unveiled three new lounges (Platinum, Gold, and Silver). These lounges will be open to its Privilege Club members as well as oneworld alliance members.

The Lounges

The Platinum Lounge is located in concourse A and can accommodate 140 passengers. It includes a quiet area, a prayer room, Wi-Fi, à la carte dining or buffet, a bar, and showers. This lounge is open to Platinum loyalty members and oneworld Emerald card holders.

The Gold Lounge is also located in concourse A and has the capacity to accommodate up to 85 passengers, with services including family seating, a bar, dining area, buffet dining, showers and Wi-Fi. This lounge is open to Gold members and oneworld Sapphire members.

Finally, the Silver Lounge located in concourse B (which opened in March) can accommodate up to 195 passengers and features meeting rooms, a family area, quiet area, buffet dining and baggage storage facilities.

Customers can extend an invite to one guest using their plus-one complimentary access, a benefit eligible to Qatar Airways Platinum and Gold Privilege Club members, as well as oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members.
