Tulsa (TUL) Airport Getting an Escape Lounge

Tulsa International Airport (TUL) has announced its approved plan to open a new Escape Lounge (operated by CAVU) in fall 2024. Currently, Tulsa International Airport only has a military lounge, so this is exciting news for the traveling public.

According to the plan, the new lounge will be approximately 3,100 square feet with a capacity for about 60 customers. CAVU plans to invest $2.3 million to renovate and open this new space. Construction of the lounge will start immediately.

The lounge will feature chef-prepared food, including complimentary snacks, appetizers, and refreshments. The lounge will also have a full bar with a diverse selection of beverages, including premium spirits, wines, and beers, allowing passengers to unwind and enjoy their time before their flight.

Besides seating and comfortable work areas, the lounge will have free high-speed internet access (Wi-Fi).

Access

Passengers can obtain lounge access via a handful of methods. American Express Delta Reserve (when flying Delta), American Express Platinum, American Express Centurion credit cards, and Priority Pass members are entitled to complimentary access. Additionally, the lounge offers day passes that can be purchased in advance (24 hours or more) for $40 or $45 for walk-up customers. There are also discounts for military and AAA members. Children under two years of age are admitted free of charge.

Closing Thoughts

This announcement is exciting news for those visiting Tulsa (TUL) airport, especially since this is their first public lounge. One other interesting fact is that this is the only public airport lounge in the entire state of Oklahoma. There are currently 15 Escape Lounges throughout the United States. Tulsa International Airport operates service from five airlines: American, Allegiant, Delta, Southwest, and United.
