United Club T3 Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) Opens

United Airlines (UAL/UA) has opened its newest and only United Club lounge at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). This is exciting news since United moved its operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 in February 2020 and lost the only United Club (Phoenix) location. After the move, there was a delay before the new lounge opened but now the Terminal 3 location is open and ready for customers.

The lounge is located in (newish) Terminal 3, near Gate E3, and is open from 05:00 to 23:30 daily. The lounge features room for 122 passengers, art from local artists, a wellness room, and a full buffet and full bar with a special cocktail prickly pear margarita.

Closing Thoughts

We are seeing lots of lounge growth at PHX and some of this is in anticipation of Super Bowl LVII that will be held in Phoenix on Feb 12, 2023. This United Club addition joins lounges from the other mainline U.S. carriers such as American (3) and Delta and lounges by Escape Lounge (2) and Centurion Lounge. After over 2 years of there not being a United Club at PHX, this opening will be celebrated by many.
