Aspire Opens Redesigned Lounge at Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS)
Swissport has unveiled its revamped Aspire lounge in the Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) Airport. The lounge is open daily between 06:00 and 22:00 (10 pm) and is located between D and E Gates on the third floor, where you will see Airline Lounge 41 in the non-Schengen area. You can access the lounge using various methods, including a Priority Pass membership, a paid day pass, or other credit cards.
The redesigned lounge utilizes repurposed furniture from the previous space, showcasing Swissport’s commitment to sustainability. The new redesign spans 6,727 square feet (625 sqm) and can accommodate 178 travelers. It incorporates modern design, including the basalt stones of the Dutch dikes. The spacious lounge includes features for both leisure and business travelers. There are also showers and a botanical room towards the rear of the lounge, which offers a tranquil retreat from the busy airport terminal.
The redesigned Aspire lounge reopened in the same week as the nearby oneworld lounge. The oneworld lounge was created in collaboration with Aspire, and the two spaces share the same kitchen for operational efficiencies.
Closing Thoughts
This newly renovated lounge looks impressive. I love the warm colors, comfortable chairs, sofas, and working areas. I am also really happy to see the ceiling-to-floor windows with views of the airport area.
