Chase will open a new lounge at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). Construction has not yet begun, and an opening date has not been set. Chase has shared that the lounge will be located near Gate 148 and span 9,234 square feet (858 square meters).

Based on the renderings the lounge will feature windows with outdoor views of the airport area and feature warm-natural colors found at other Chase Sapphire lounges.

Access

I am assuming access to the LAX Chase Lounge will be the same as other chase lounges, using one of the following three methods.

  1. Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card
  2. Priority Pass Membership (one total Chase Sapphire Lounge per year)
  3. Paid entrance ($100 per person)

Closing Thoughts

This is very exciting news since there are currently no Priority Pass-eligible lounges at LAX, and this will likely be the first in a long-long time. I will be at LAX in September, and I bet it will not be open, but if so I will get a review of the lounge while I am there.
