Miami International (MIA) Airport Terminal and Airline Guide

person standing in an airport terminal with baggage.

Miami International Airport (MIA) has 6 concourses (D, E, F, G, H, and J) that are all interconnected through three terminals identified as North, South, and Central. Some airlines span multiple concourses* or depart from a different concourse from which they arrive. Concourse E is split into two parts the main concourse and a satellite which is connected via train.

Note: to get from one concourse to another you may be required to leave the secure area and go through security again. For example I was recently in the D concourse and had to exit the terminal and re-clear security to get to the H concourse. Although some of the concourses are connected such as D/E and H/J.

Closing Thoughts

I am curious about what happened to the "I" concourse. I really enjoy Miami International Airport and have an excellent time when I am there. One of the other things I like about the MIA airport is the Miami International Airport Hotel which is located outside of the E concourse.
