Chase and Etihad Partner to Open New JFK Lounge
Chase has announced it will be partner with Etihad Airways to open a lounge at New York's (JFK) Airport. The Sapphire Lounge by The Club with Etihad Airways will located in Terminal 4 on the Mezzanine - Level 4 above gate A2. The lounge will be located in the same spot as the previous Etihad Airways lounge, which closed in 2020.
This location will offer the signature Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club experience and is expected to open on January 23 (one week after the grand opening of the Chase Sapphire LaGuardia lounge).
I am hearing rumors that the lounge will have showers and will be open from 05:00 to 23:00 (11 pm). The lounge will feature fresh and seasonal dining with halal options and cocktails, coffee, and other beverages. There will also be private restrooms and reflection rooms to relax.
Lounge Access
- Chase Sapphire Reserve with Priority Pass card members have unlimited visits including two guests.
- Non-Chase Sapphire Reserve Priority Pass members are able to enter the lounge once per calendar year at no cost (with no visitors). Each subsequent visit or each additional guest will cost $75.
- Etihad First Class and Business Class
Closing Thoughts
JJFK airport has the most lounges (27) of any airport in the United States. This lounge will likely to have many similarities to Chase Sapphire Lounge at LGA. JFK's Terminal 4 has ten lounges, including two Delta lounges, a Centurion lounge, and many other airline lounges. I will be curious to see how this joint venture between Chase and Etihad works out when things open.
